Kathleen Sander, MD
OB-GYN | NaPRO Technologies
Dr. Sander is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist. She received her undergraduate degree and was a collegiate volleyball player at Catholic University in Washington, D.C. She discovered her path and realized God’s call to serve through medicine while spending her post-college years doing volunteer work in a maternity home in Los Angeles and working at the National Catholic Bioethics Center in Philadelphia. She went on to medical school at Florida State.
It was during her initial obstetric rotation in medical school that she knew she would specialize in OB-GYN care. She was able to see many deliveries her first rotation, was overcome by the beauty of new life and knew that it would be a gift to be a part of that journey.
Dr. Sander did her fellowship at the Pope Paul VI Institute and received her certification in NaProTECHNOLOGY™. This enables her to give women, families and the culture truly authentic care by offering a scientific approach to managing women’s reproductive and gynecologic disorders. It works cooperatively with a woman’s reproductive system first to identify the underlying cause of a woman’s health difficulty and then to correct the abnormalities, restoring her health and fertility. Fundamentally, NaProTECHNOLOGY™ is different in that it seeks to understand and so properly diagnose any underlying problems. Whatever treatments are employed, work to correct and restore a patient’s health. She hopes that through NaProTECHNOLOGY™ she can be an instrument of the good things God has for his children.
Dr. Sander is not a native to Colorado, but she is loving her time in this beautiful state already. She enjoys hiking, running, volleyball, sports and is currently learning how to play guitar.
