Family Medicine

Trujillo has been a board-certified physician assistant in primary care since 2006. She graduated from the University of Colorado's Physician Assistant Program and has been practicing in Colorado ever since. She began her career in family medicine and then felt a strong calling to pediatric care where she served the Aurora and Evergreen communities for a combination of ten years. She most recently comes from working at her alma mater, Regis University, where she provided primary care services and cared for undergraduate and graduate college students in the student healthcare center. 

She loves working with patients and cultivating relationships to help navigate each on their unique health journey. She is truly honored to enter into this space with patients and values a collaborative approach. 

Outside of work, Julie enjoys spending her time with her husband and 6 children in Golden. She loves doing anything outdoors (hiking especially), singing in the choir, and family gatherings.
